Meet the Maker:

Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to live more healthfully. Maybe it was a health scare, or maybe it’s to avoid one. Maybe it’s just because it feels good. For me, paying closer attention to what was going in and on my body happened after the birth of my first daughter. Becoming a parent was a big change, one that got me to read labels and eliminate unnecessary chemicals and synthetic ingredients in my daily routine when possible.

It was during an extended stay in Bali that I discovered the konjac sponge. I was amazed at what it did for my skin, detoxifying, exfoliating and cleansing without any harsh additives or unpronounceable ingredients. It was everything I had been looking for in a skincare product: Simple, natural, multitasking and not crazy expensive! While locals saw the konjac as something ordinary, I saw something incredible and wanted to share it with everyone I knew back at home. So I started what you see here, named it after my daughter Solana and the rest, as they say, is history.

I hope you enjoy these products as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them.
