Meet the Maker:

Owner and designer, Kelley Solomon, has always had a passion for style, fashion and art. Growing up loving the arts, she studied fashion and photography in college. Upon graduation, Kelley moved to Martha's Vineyard where she created her first jewelry line, KDesign, which was sold in a variety of island exclusive boutiques.  Kelley found peace and inspiration for her jewelry through the island's rustic charm, raw beauty, and spirituality.

In 2011, she launched her new collection and named it after her favorite place on Martha's Vineyard, Aquinnah. Aquinnah Jewelry is designed and handmade in a home studio, nestled in picturesque Killingworth, Connecticut and in a small cottage on the island of Martha's Vineyard.

Located in Portland Oregon, Michelle & Miguel found themselves living near the book recycling hub of America.  Their passion for saving books (aided by Michelle's degree in English Literature) developed over many years, during which time they cultivated deep partnerships with libraries & recycling centers whose discarded books go to face the landfill & die. Their passion for rescuing these books & transforming them into something new drives them.

Founded in 2004, Attic Journals is on a mission to give books new life, not necessarily in their previous form. Each book retains its original character & charm, then dependent on specific materials, they are transformed into notebooks, garlands, coasters & even earrings! Our customers appreciate the added functionality of our repurposed books, as well as the undeniably academic look & feel they bring into their homes.
