At the heart of catstudio are its founders: Carmel and Terrell Swan, creators of Swan Magic embroidered t-shirts. The first letters of their names—C and T—form the “CAT” of catstudio, and their love for hand-craftsmanship, their passion for geography, and their sense of adventure and fun ring true in everything we create.

Each piece of art is lovingly drawn by hand, on paper. We spend countless hours researching, sketching, chatting with locals, and finally bringing the art to life with as many as 30 colors with one big goal in mind: illuminating YOUR special place with love, joy, and an insider’s perspective.

This pillow is embroidered with catstudio's original and licensed art. Created on tea-colored background, accented with black piping, and finished with a zipper closure.

• 16x20 inches

• Dry clean only

This pillow design is HAND-DRAWN with collaborative input from a group of passionate alumni, fans, faculty, and locals. Catstudio works with each school's Licensing Department, President's Office, Athletics, and Alumni to capture and illustrate the essence of the college.

Tom and Joanne Sullivan owned Hollywood Chairs in North Hollywood, supplying directors chairs to top movie and television productions. In a quest to improve upon their famously comfortable foldable chairs, the Sullivans began experimenting with other material options. They wanted something lighter than their existing oak chairs yet still strong enough to last through the production of a blockbuster picture (and its inevitable sequels). After exhaustive research, they found one material fit the bill better than any other — bamboo! Bamboo has a higher tensile strength than steel, yet is light enough for anyone to easily carry. Not only is bamboo a better material option, but it’s better for the planet too. When harvested, bamboo's roots remain and quickly regenerate. It’s a truly remarkable and renewable resource. The success of bamboo in chairs led Tom and Joanne to consider other uses for this amazing material. They used their combined art and design backgrounds to invent the FIRST bamboo cutting board. This cutting board crafted from “engineered bamboo,” was light and durable, harder than maple yet gentle on knives. With this brilliant innovation, Totally Bamboo was born! Totally Bamboo has continued to innovate since the inception of the bamboo cutting board and offers masterfully crafted solutions in a wide variety of home and gift categories.

We believe we've managed to create the closest possible thing to a perfect GIn & Tonic

• Our Classic Tonic Syrup (formerly known as our Small Batch Tonic) is essentially a quinine concentrate. It’s designed to pair with your favorite Gin or Vodka, and is then stretched with soda water to make a bright, light, refreshing highball.
• With a backbone of quinine, culled from the Cinchona Tree, we’ve added a delicate mix of botanicals and then sweetened it with real cane sugar; the final product is a complex mixture that introduces a fine bitterness to any cocktail, and a great pairing with the botanicals of the finest Gins in the world.
• Quinine was once considered a cure for malaria. We aren't doctors, so the only thing we definitively know it will cure is the happy hour conundrum!
• 17 ounce bottle

Avocado Vase
Introducing the Avocado Vase in Rose Pink by Ilex Studio. We believe you will find the avocado plant growing fun, engaging and rewarding. Along with, it’s one of the heartiest and handsome house plants you can grow.

The Avocado Vase’s pure and simple design, based on the principles of minimalism, timelessness, and functionality, allows you to observe the avocado seed as it matures, giving an insight into the plants' first stages of life.

We have refined the traditional method of growing, skipping the toothpicks, and utilising the opening to cradle the seed keeping it dry as it sprouts and encouraging the roots to flourish freely.  The sinuously shaped vase magnifies the roots as they prosper; creating a perfect focal point to witness the plant as it develops.

Your love of avocados can thrive long after eating one; just save the seed, grow it and discover the extraordinary tree inside.

Ideal for plant lovers, design enthusiasts, inquisitive children and everyone who wishes to experience the joy of nature and a unique connection to our environment.
