Meet the Maker:
Dot & Lil started in 2008 as a project with my sister. We started by making soaps and lip balms by hand and selling them at local events in Montreal. After a little while my sister left to pursue new adventures in California, but I was immediately obsessed with the world of fragrances and skincare, and at the age of only 22 I decided to take the leap of building our little project into something bigger. We soon started selling to small shops and independent retailers. One of our very first products was a powdered bath milk. Little did I know this would become the product that is at the very heart of our product line, so many years later! Our Dot & Lil line has always been inspired by great ladies of the past, the beauty of tradition, and the special world of flowers. The little project blossomed into a business that slowly started selling to more and more stores, eventually expanding to sell to stores across Canada and the USA. 11 years later, Dot & Lil is still small but we've grown to be mighty! All still made by hand, by our Dot & Lil team of 14 people in our Montreal atelier. I can't believe I get to play with flowers and bath products for a living, thank you for making our bath dreams come true! We love making beautiful things for you and we can't wait to see what the future will hold for our little team.
