A luscious pairing of dried figs, fresh fig puree, and sliced almonds with hints of orange, lemon and lime enlivens everything from duck to ice cream.  Contains nuts. 8.3 oz.

Serve Fig Almond Spread with chicken, duck, game, pork, and foie gras. Try it with soft or blue cheeses. Use it to top desserts or pancakes. Mix into plain muffin batter.

Company Founder Nancy Wekselbaum has always been known to friends and family as a gracious host with a love for cooking and entertaining, but it wasn’t until later in her career she made it her full-time job. Nancy’s love of food and cooking began early, and she eventually began to sauté, flambé, and soufflé. It was during a power outage at her Connecticut home when Nancy prepared steak with homemade chutney for a friend who so raved about the chutney she suggested Nancy sell it. Something clicked and in 2006 The Gracious Gourmet was born. Nancy's recipes are now award-winning products.
